100 Museums Challenge: Museum No.42 A couple of weeks ago, I attended a meeting of the Museum Think Tank Berlin at C/O Berlin, and we were given the opportunity to look around the current exhibitions beforehand. For those unfamiliar with it, C/O Berlin is “a charitable foundation that has presented, since 2000, a cultural program with an international standing. The exhibition venue for photography and visual media shows works by renowned artists, promotes emerging talent and accompanies children, youths and adults on their journeys of […]

Today’s post is a bit off topic regarding museums, but I would like to share with you a website I have been using on and off over the past 5 years. Turns out, a bit of both as the case was. But, either way, I didn’t tell anyone […]

Reykjavík Museum of Photography

Despite having managed to cover a lot of Reykjavík’s museums during the conference last week, we still managed to find some more we hadn’t visited. The Reykjavík Museum of Photography is an independent museum with an annual programme of changing exhibitions. It’s small but admission is free, and with around ten exhibitions each year there will no doubt always be something new to discover. We spent some time there in their current exhibition ‘Ma France’ by Hungarian born photographer André Kertesz, which chronicled scenes from […]
