In case you hadn’t noticed, we’re in the midst of “Movember”! The term – a portmanteau of moustache + November – was apparently coined in 1999 by a group of young men in Adelaide, Australia, but in 2004 the “Movember Foundation” was born in Melbourne, a charity to raise awareness and funds for testicular and prostate cancer. Earlier in the week I wrote about our new Museum140 project Museum Exposure (#MusExp11), which invited everyone to help capture museum activity around the world on 11/11/11.
