Dear Jenni,
I recently travelled to Paris, one of my favourite cities in the world, and I thought a lot about you while visiting museums. I always wished to visit a LeCorbusier building and during this trip, my wish came true! I went to see the Maison La Roche, where the Corbusier Foundation works. Unfortunately, the building is under renovation, so I could only visit half of it, but let me write about the other half.
First I was really surprised to see such a narrow staircase, but to tell you the truth it felt so human, no monumentalism at all. (That is unique in Paris!) The building had many little, cozy spaces and well-designed proportions. The detail that I loved the most was a little corridor with a view to an original club chair. The lights were fantastic around the spaces. I really enjoyed this experience and hope to visit this building when the renovation is over!
Üdvözlettel,
