Music to visit Botany Museums by

October 9, 2014

I was very saddened last week by the news that a blogger friend had lost her brave long-time battle against leukaemia. Inga and I never met in real life, but we had communicated a few times via email after connecting through an online blogging course, and I had become an avid reader and fan of her gardening blog ‘Glomery Lane’. She was known in the blogging community as the ‘flower girl’, and so I would like to dedicate my latest playlist in the series ‘Music to Visit Museums By‘ to Inga.

Track listing:

  1. Edelweiss (Sound of Music – Original Cast)
  2. Sunflower (Dean Martin)
  3. Blue Orchid (The White Stripes)
  4. Wildwood Flower (The Carter Family)
  5. Lemon Tree (Fool’s Garden)
  6. Where the Wild Roses Grow (Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds & Kylie Minogue)
  7. Dandelion (Kacey Musgraves)
  8. Sleeping in the Flowers (They Might Be Giants)
  9. Marigold (Nirvana)
  10. Orange Blossom Special (Johnny Cash)
  11. Daisy (Hafdis Huld)
  12. Build Me Up Buttercup (The Foundations)
