My Top 10 Museums on ‘My Destination Berlin’

February 17, 2014

If you follow me on social media, you’ll know that a couple of weeks ago I mentioned being interviewed by the travel site ‘My Destination Berlin’ about my favourite museums in the city. Well, the video of the interview is finally ready!

The video covers my Top 5 museums in Berlin, but head over to My Destination Berlin to read up on my full Top 10. By the way, for a museum lover, living in Berlin feels a bit like being a kid in a candy store – there are so many museums to pick from, it’s not actually that easy to choose favourites. While my Top 3 or so probably stay the same, the rest of the list changes sometimes, according to my most recent visits and experiences, so you may find the article and interview differ slightly from recent lists here on the blog ;)

    Hey Jenni,
I saw you from afar at the BlogUp Berlin event yesterday. I love museums too and am dying to see more in Berlin. If you ever need someone to go with you let me know and we can blog about it together (haha).
    Keep up the awesome blogging,
    Vanessa :)

Hey Vanessa, sorry we didn’t get a chance to chat at the BlogUp. Thanks for visiting my blog, and hope to catch up with you next time!

It’s shocking how few of these I have visited. Thanks for the list – will try and work my way through it! x

Thanks for the recommendation! It’s a bit overwhelming to choose where to start when it comes to museums in Berlin… I’ll start with your top 5.

[…] I don’t really have one specific favourite spot, but it’s safe to say that it would involve a museum. My favourite museum in Berlin in terms of the collections is the Naturkundemuseum Berlin (and I’m not just saying that because you’re asking the questions). My favourite museum to just hang out in is the Jüdisches Museum Berlin. In the summer I like to go there after work and sit in one of the deck chairs in the garden with a good book, and when the weather isn’t so great the glass courtyard is a nice place to retreat to – I’ve even had a picnic inside there with a friend when a thunderstorm rained on our plans! And my favourite museum to take #MuseumBaby to is the Deutsches Technikmuseum.
