{Scotland} Low Tech Interactives & Vikings

Scotland

I’ve just been tidying through my photo archives, and came across these pictures I took at Timespan Museum and Arts Centre in Helmsdale, Scotland, long before I started this blog. It’s a nice example of how you can make an exhibition interactive and engaging without having to throw big resources at it.

It’s been a while since our visit, and I think the museum may even had a makeover since then, so it’s quite possible these no longer exist, but I still like the creative idea behind them. Here’s a bonus picture of me as a Viking during the same visit, as taken by the husband (then boyfriend). And yes, I know Viking helmets didn’t have horns.

(Apologies for the bad quality of the photos, they were taken on old pre-iPhone camera phones^^)
