Lessons in the Park

February 11, 2011

Earlier this week we were out for a walk, when we came across this giant tree that had blown over in the Meadows* – or rather, what was left of the tree. On closer inspection, we noticed that someone had annotated the stump. OK, so it’s not directly linked to museums, but it is an example of people engaging with their natural environment. I don’t know how accurate all the annotations are, though it does show a certain degree of understanding of science and knowledge of history. And a large degree of creativity!
